Best Paper
The Working Conference assigned a best paper award (in the form of a certificate and a Sacher Cake holding an IFIP logo). The jury consisted of Eileen Trauth, Steve Elliot and Sigi Reich. They felt that the paper "STRATEGIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS PLANNING FOR E-BUSINESS: THEORETICAL INSIGHTS AND EMPIRICAL ISSUES" by Catherine Hardy from the
School of Business of the University of Sydney was outstanding in its coverage, comprehensiveness and also potential for future work.

Theme: Multi-disciplinary solutions to industry & government's E-business challenges
The theme, multi-disciplinary solutions to industry & government's
E-business challenges, is intended to attract researchers and practitioners
from a range of disciplines. Specific sub-themes encourage multi-disciplinary
perspectives on topics of current interest.
The underlying objective of IFIP WG8.4 and this Conference is to facilitate
development of a community of collaborating multi-disciplinary researchers
and practitioners.
